We are calling the month of August “A Month of Answered Prayer.” During this month, we are focusing on praying for the needs of others. We are even hosting “A Month of Answered Prayer” on Cox Channel 17 or TV Channel 30 each weekday in August at 6:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., and 8:00 p.m. If you know someone who is in need of prayer, have him or her call 225-775-LIFE (5433) during one of the shows, and a prayer partner will be available to pray. We are believing God for many answered prayers!
On Friday, February 12, come join Melissa Stockstill as she hosts, "An Evening with the Harp" at Bethany South. She will be joined by other local musicians as they bring jazz, as well as classical, sounds to the stage. A reception will be held at intermission. Tickets are $5 at the door. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to Haitian relief efforts. Come join us for this fun Valentine's concert!
On Sunday, October 4, all three of Bethany’s campuses will unite for one service at Bethany’s north campus! The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. and will be the only service at any of our campuses for that weekend. As you make your fall plans, be sure to mark this exciting event on your calendar!
For the month of January, Pastor Larry is presenting a series about the family entitled “Connection.” We are enjoying starting this new year with you while learning about such an essential, foundational topic. So far in this series, we have discussed topics such as the four dimensions of love and keys to reviving romance in your marriage. Invite your friends and family to join us each weekend in January as we continue to cover topics that will enrich your family relationships!

A women’s Freedom Weekend and a men’s Freedom Weekend are just around the corner! These powerful weekend events will take place November 13–15 (women) and November 20–22 (men). This month we have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the role of mothers in our lives. It’s the beginning of a new year, and we’d like to dedicate the first part of it to the Lord! From January 4-24, we will be setting aside time for prayer and fasting. During these three weeks, we will be offering a corporate time of prayer from 6:00-7:00 p.m. each weekday in the main sanctuary. We hope to see you there!
On Friday, October 2, we will host Radiant Night, an event designed just for ladies. It will be held at Bethany South, and the doors will open at 6:00 p.m. for you to enjoy coffee and sweet treats at the Radiant cafe´. At 7:00 p.m., we will enjoy a time of ministry with guest Alicia Britt Chole, author of Anonymous and the newly written book Intimate Conversations. Radiant Night is a free event for any woman who would like to attend, and children’s ministry will be provided for infants–fifth grade.
